Which reports can be accessed from a Macintosh computer?

Teacher reports may be viewed through any Internet browser because they are Adobe Reader files (.pdf) and these types of files are accessible from a Macintosh.

How soon after uploading tests can reports be viewed?

  • Teacher reports are available the day following a successful upload of test results.
  • Building and District level reports are available within 72 hours following a successful upload of test results.

What is a RIT range?

The RIT range reflects the rounded range of scores that is one standard error of measure around the student's score. It can be expected that if the students took the test again soon, under similar conditions and applying the same effort, the student's score would fall within this range about 2/3 of the time.

What is a standard measure of error?

The standard error of measurement is an estimate of the precision of the achievement (RIT) score. The smaller the standard error, the more precise the achievement estimate is.

What is a percentile rank?

This number indicates the percentage of students in the NWEA norm group for this grade that this student's score equaled or exceeded.

Does NWEA offer customized reports?

NWEA does not offer customized reports. You can use the raw data.txt file included with test results to create customized reports.

Are annotated reports available to view?

Yes. To view sample reports, go to the NWEA Reports Site, and scroll to the bottom of the page. There are several annotated reports that can be viewed from here.
